If you’re checking this out you likely know what it is and who made the Mutron III, which this pedal emulates, famous (Hint: the original jam band’s lead, the funkiest of funky bassists, one who needs not see the keys to play, among countless others). I am moving it along only because I‘ve acquired the original. In a direct comparison this pedal provides a faithful recreation of its predecessor. The III exceeds this iteration in tone and versatility and has an organic life to it I haven’t experienced in any piece of music equipment, other than the vintage, mechanical Space Echo tape delay. But compared to the Q-Tron and other envelope filters I’ve tried it far exceeds each in usability and richness of tone. This one is in perfect condition and has very few hours of use. There is an input and output for controlled voltage if you want to sag the tone. It pairs fabulously with a wah pedal and can even add some depth and crunch to drive pedals. 9v center negative, did not come with a power supply, but I do have the original box and its contents. A super fun pedal to have on your board.
