About the Unicorn Account

Description

Pigtronix Octava Micro is an expanded version of the octave up found in the original Pigtronix Disnortion pedal. This all-analog frequency doubler has an on-board low pass filter control that allows you to achieve singing octave up tones, anywhere on the neck, without adjusting your guitar’s tone control.
When playing stable intervals like octaves, fourths, and power chords, the pedal delivers a raw, aggressive grind, whereas other intervals generate ring-modulator-like textures across all registers. The addition of Drive, Blend, and Fuzz controls expands the original two-knob layout, providing increased signal strength and versatility. A front-end variable Drive circuit lets players shape the harmonic response of the octave effect to complement any pickup configuration.
The octave-up signal feeds into a fuzz circuit, which can be engaged via a push-button switch, enabling the pedal to recreate the intense, full-wave rectified distortion characteristic of the original larger model. Finally, the Blend control allows seamless mixing of the combined effects with the clean guitar signal for precise tonal balance. This pedal is in good condition.
