Description

This is the DOD FX65 Stereo Chorus pedal. It's the legendary analog chorus pedal that's been on the boards of John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, Brian "Head" Welch of Korn, and tons more. It can be run in mono or in phase-flipped stereo, for really trippy chorusing. Here's a rundown of the controls:DEPTH: This sets the intensity of the chorusing. Counter-clockwise is subtle. Clockwise is more intense.DELAY TIME: This is what makes the FX65 special. It sets the interval between the wet and dry signals. Counterclockwise works great with clean sounds. Clockwise works great with distortion. At full counter-clockwise, you can get the sound of a flanger with the Regen turned all the way down. It makes this pedal really versatile.SPEED: This is the rate of the modulation. Counterclockwise is slow and low. Turning it clockwise makes the chorusing more rapid. This FX65 is in good cosmetic condition. The electronics work perfectly. The pots, jacks, and stomp switch are clean and quiet. The battery door is missing (where did all of the 1990s DOD battery covers go?). You can power this with a 9-volt battery, or a 9-volt power supply with a 3.5mm positive tip phone plug.
