There is a reason every delay is compared to this one, and endless big name pros from Radiohead to the Edge and Andy Timmons have used them forever. This one is known as "GiGi." as in gorgeous. Because anyone who hears it has always said, oh, my gawd, that is gorgeous. Thus, G-orgeous G-orgeous. We agree. Nothing like it. We have owned more than a dozen of these, it is our all-time favorite pedal, and we even have a t-shirt with an old one on it we made. We have only kept the greatest three from all these years. Good luck when you are looking for one of these. They are all over the map, sometimes wonderfully and sometimes nightmarishly. So all of the pedals you are looking at, you really have no idea what you will get unless the seller really knows them, has had many of them and understands what makes them beautiful. This one is just one of those special stunners. It is warm and sugary sweet, and jaw-droppingly beautiful resonant and wide glide. Strats especially have never sounded better, and buckers, P90s, all amazing. You can go from Pink Floyd and Gilmour tones to Hendrix and U2, you name it. Just inspiring as can be. Yes, this one has the paint worn away, and that's because it has been played endlessly, a million times we have turned it on and just flown like a seagull into the ether of the skies with it. The great ones are really used, because they are LOVED, beware the clean ones..they don't have the mojo like this one, they just sat on shelves. We will miss it forever, Gigi is amazing. We just had our tech CJ put in a new on/off switch in the top left corner and completely go through it, check all capacitors, parts, and the calibration, on the oscilloscope like we always have with ours, then we have played it a couple more weeks straight. Gigi is good to go.You will sit in front of your amp and this pedals for days and days, as the rest of the world disappears. It can take you to outer space and into the ether.
