I have no idea where this pedal lands in the evolution of the Wampler Faux Tape Echo. Clearly, it is before they switched to a on/off button and a tap tempo for the V2. I really like the pedal a lot, and for how I use delay, a tap temp isn't really needed. I liked running this through my loop with the level at 9 o'clock and everything else at noon. It seemed to be perfect for just about everything right there, from filling a lead out to not making everything a mush on rhythm. It's in good shape for it's age. I can't remember why I put tape on the side at some point, but you can see some of it in some of the pics. I sent it back to BAD a couple of years ago to get a new switch put in.
