JHS Prestige Boost - Excellent conditionThe JHS Prestige is a versatile, single-knob pedal designed to act as a buffer, a volume boost, or a preamp/overdrive by pushing your amp's tubes. With a one-knob control, it offers a clean buffer for long cable runs in the first 25%, a tone and gain boost for solos or saturating other overdrives from 25-75%, and clean tube overdrive by pushing your amp's preamps in the last 25% of the knob's range. How the JHS Prestige WorksThe single volume knob on the Prestige serves multiple functions:0-25% (Buffer/Enhancer): At its lowest setting, the Prestige functions as a clean buffer, adding brightness and restoring high frequencies lost through long cable runs or unbuffered effects. 25-75% (Volume Boost): As you increase the knob, the pedal adds a clean volume boost, which is great for pushing solos or adding saturation to other overdrive pedals in front of it. 75-100% (Drive/Overdrive): Turning the knob up further drives the tube preamps of your amplifier, creating a natural, harmonic overdrive and rich sustain.
