Classic RAT pedal, with a kitchen sink's worth of quality upgrades! First up, I got my hands on some NOS Linear Technology OP07 "Metal Can" Op-Amps. The ultimate mojo. The diodes and transistor have been replaced with period-correct parts. I've installed two mod switches:1. Diode Selection (left switch): Flip to the left for Symmetrical clipping (this is stock). Flip to the right for Asymmetrical clipping. This style is described as more "tube like" distortion, since it clips your signal in a uneven way. 2. Filter Sweep (right switch): Choose between "Vintage" and "Cut" options. Vintage mode adjusts the sweep to mimic the old Big Box RATs. Cut mode gets rid of the ice-pick treble of the modern RAT and makes the Filter Sweep very useable. I rounded this out with Blue LED and knobs. Have a Rat that stands out from the rest! Since I performed the mods myself, I provide a 30-day guarantee (from the time of receipt) against failure of operation. This pedal has had very little playtime and comes with original box.
