I’ve had this Kaoss pad quad for 15 years & always performed with optimum function.. I have taken good care of it, especially when travelling using a hard shell Carrying case with padding.. Never had a bang or a ding over so many years with at least 100 gigs abroad, & 1,000 times use at home.. Great for recording or for live performance, as for me it is the most diverse & powerful multi effect control device with pin point accuracy through the point of your finger tips.. It really is an instrument as well.. Almost endless discovery of combinations & dynamics of effects.. I have used it mostly for vocals, but also with synthesizers.. Ultimately unique enhancements to the sounds of whatever instruments you want to use it for.. My favoite instrument of all time
