Electro-Harmonix Muff Fuzz in excellent condition. It works just like it should. It comes with a new battery. Completely serviced. Please see the pictures for the cosmetic details. Please Read. There is not a lot of good information available about these. If you're not familiar with them, here is what you should know:They sound a lot better than many give them credit for. They are really best for high gain fuzz, not clean boost or slight overdrive.EHX supposedly made a transistor version, but I have never seen one. This one is the op-amp version. The gain of the fuzz circuit is fixed and is quite high. You can only vary the amount of fuzz/distortion by your guitar's volume knob. You will never have just a clean boost, always distortion, but sounding good. The pot on the unit is just output volume. If you try to use a very small input signal, they tend to "gate" it and it will sound "fizzy". Some online schematics show the typical input jack/battery connection function. There really is none. The power is turned on and off by the switch on the front of the unit, which also acts as a true bypass when it is off. If you leave the switch on, the battery will still supply power to the circuit and eventually drain, so you will need to remember to turn it off when not using it.The input and output jacks are not in the usual output left/input right configuration.
