About the Unicorn Account

Description

This is an audio Looper. *NOT a looper pedal This allows you to take your pedals off the pedalboard and put them in a rack so you can engage them on or off remotely. You do this by plugging all of your pedals in and out of the unit which would be in a rack somewhere else on stage like behind your amp and then with a midi cable and a midi switcher you can turn on and off your pedals (or amps) individually. It's the same kind of rig Billy Corgan used. Lots of pros do this when they're pedal boards become gnarly or if they have really fancy pedals that they'd like to keep in good shape but still use.
You can also use this to turn on and off amplifier heads. It's true bypass so signal will always flow.

The power input was professionally modded to replace the DIN to a normal AC 21 mm. This unit comes with a power supply.

  • Understand that you would need to have a MIDI controller that able to send channels on midi 16 for this thing to hear it. This unit only "hears" midi channel 16. Most modern midi controllers do that, some old ones don't.

It works like a charm. I just don't need it anymore.

The stomp boxes do not come with the sale. The pedalboard does not come with the sale. The patch cables do not come with the sale. It is just the GCX unit and the power supply.
