As soon as it was announced, the world's first distortion pedal using xenon tubes, the PLASMA Pedal, quickly became a worldwide sensation. The PLASMA Pedal was widely accepted by guitarists, bassists, and other pedal enthusiasts around the world for its wide range of sounds, from creamy distortion to fuzz with a strong gate.
Now Gamechanger Audio and Nashville, Tennessee-based record label Third Man Records (headed by Jack White of the White Stripes) have teamed up to introduce a new distortion pedal, the PLASMA Coil. PLASMA Coil is a special version of the PLASMA Pedal created by Gamechanger Audio and Third Man Records. Jack White used the PLASMA Coil on The Raconteurs' latest album "Help Us Stranger" and its tour. It will also appear on future projects.

The addition of multiple octave-style circuitry and a footswitch for both latching and unlatching takes "High Voltage" distortion to a higher level.
