Bought directly from David Koltai a little while back. Used it for a touring project but wasnt actually used all that much so it laid dormant on the board for most of the time. This beast is one of the very few that actually delivering on the synth side of things with a sound of its own ! An actual analogue sinewave(s) which you can blend along with your bass and further stomp boxes ! ! David has clearly thought this pedal through and through with all these features, including: Sub out, VCO, Glides, Whammy range, Ring modulator, Sinewaves shapes on/off, Sub octave (even on my 5er Lowest ! (Also amazing when blend is off ! ) And so much more..Mostly THE BLEND ! ! so your bass stays on the channel and you can tune the synth to it. - or completely kill it and just stay with a synth. I’ve yet to come across anything that can do half as much with a sound of its own ! If anything, I think David has created one of those outstanding pedals that further versions aren't really going to match the original. Its an early version as well. Unit number 0846. (for collectors heads out thre, this will become a thing given there arent that many units out there )It wants your clean/preamp signal first. Or post comp. With active basses it does really well as long as your batteries are solid otherwise, if batteries are too low it would tell you go elsewhere for tracking. Ive used it with passive pbass and Jbass and working beautifully ! Comes with a box and manual and a US type lead which i’d say is probably my only light criticism of this unit, it works well, and if needs be you can find super cheap 48v power replacements. (£12ish) I took it for a service to be done by Koltai team as well in 2022. Price: £280. seems fair considering whats out there, the overall condition, box + manual.Condition: Very Good.
