Vintage inductors and pots bring back legendary sounds. The inductor, the heart of the wah pedal, is a vintage Halo type inductor that has been specially voiced. Careful selection of magnetic materials and winding methods were used to perfectly reproduce the wah sound of the V846, which is sought after by guitarists around the world. For the pot, an original VOX pot with a sealed design, excellent durability, and unique curve characteristics is used. The V846-HW offers unprecedented control and sensitivity to even the position just before the pedal is depressed, which is difficult to control with ordinary wah pedals due to its smooth curve characteristics.
To maximize the potential of the wah pedal, a group of parts were carefully selected. The carbon composite resistors are made in Japan by Kamaya Electric.
