Description

JHS 3 Series Phaser: Rehoused with Top Jacks + Custom Finish & Hardware UpgradesThe 3 Series Phaser is quite exceptional and does everything from a subtle modulation, to a sweeping phase, to a chewy Uni-Vibe-like throb. I love rehousing pedals and the tones on this one were well-worth giving it a facelift. I also don't like side jacks, at all. This one is a brand new JHS Phaser that was rehoused into a 1590BBS enclosure with a weathered antique pewter finish, which was smooth-sanded then polished for some "well-loved" mojo. Quality jacks were used and a total of 6 existing solder points on the board were tapped... 4 for the I/O jacks and 2 for the 9v power. 2 dummy plugs are inserted into the PCB's 1/4" jacks, which are necessary since the board expects something to be in there. The 3 knobs are machined aluminum, the LED bezel is chrome, and a big old dummy knob plus indicator plate was added; the knob is visual-only and not connected to anything, but does turn, because, well, it should!THE BONUS: most or all JHS 3 Series pedals will fit this enclosure. If you are handy at easy soldering and have a different 3 Series you want housed in this one, the current phaser can be removed and rehoused in the OG white enclosure in about 5 minutes... just snip off (or unsolder) the wires at the 6 solder points and transfer the board to the OG white enclosure. It will be good as new. Comes with everything it did when purchased new, including the black knobs, JHS button, gravity pick, docs, box, etc.
