If you've ever heard the black Sabbath track "Planet Caravan" - this is a much deeper, more psychedelic (at heavier settings) version of that effect on Ozzy's vocals. Slightly chorusy phasey - slightly vibratoey - bit tremoloey - all lovely. Pedals in the studio at recording or mixing give you that hands on real time movement missing from so many records now. Over automating things can get a little bland. Just running drums, bass or synths into an analog modulation device gives them so much more texture, vibrancy and movement. Make one thing sound superb and you won't need to layer instruments to fill that little hole in your heart. A very well made clone that sounds as near as dammit to the original - but without the £200 price tag!
