Description

The Dunlop MXR Carbon Copy delay is one of the all-time steals in true analog delays. The Carbon Copy uses the Bucket Brigade delay method where the signal is passed along a series of analog delay circuits. Which each successive handoff, there is a slight degredation in fidelity and crispness. This is what gives the analog bucket bridgade delays their warm, tape-like tone. It's rich and organic but not wobbly or wonky to the point of being lo-fi unless  you max out the mod settings which are internally adjustable
Rugged, simple, and made in USA. For a compact analog delay there is simply no better value. Excellent condition, but no box or manual.
In the words of Dunlop:
The Carbon Copy Analog Delay delivers rich, warm bucket-bridgade delay with up to 600ms of delay time and modulation. This pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies (not included).
The Long Story
Go from crisp "bathroom" slap echoes to epic, Gilmouresque delays with the MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay. Featuring 600ms of delay time with optional modulation, and a three-knob layout that controls Delay, Mix, and Regen. In addition, there are two internal trim pots that offer user-adjustable width and rate control of the modulation for even more tonal options. All done by a completely analog audio path for authentic rich, warm analog delay—made possible only by old-school analog bucket brigade technology. True bypass.
