Cool pedal. The toggle switch engages a glitchy octave down that works primarily for synths. It can be cool on guitar as well, although it is more of a constant glitchy drone/howl kind of sound. The distortion control has to be at 12'o'clock or greater for this mod to work. The stock DS-1 is pretty quiet even when the volume is maxed. A pair of the clipping diodes were removed which greatly increases the overall volume of the pedal and reduces the amount of distortion a bit. This mod is great for using the DS-1 to boost another amp. The knobs were switched out and a blue led was installed.
