It has the ability to loop for 5-minutes (on each track) and layer an infinite amount of overdubs. And if you hold down the button it will undo the last recorded overdub maintaining the original loop. But there are two tracks each with its own volume control which allows for seemless transitioning between sounds. Then there is a whole effects section with things like half speed, double speed, reverse, fade out, and tape stop. It's great for ambient music in particular. But also good for loop jams and sketching out songs. There is a different mode that alows you to treat the two tracks as a verse and chorus and can switch between the two. Most people will use this pedal with guitar which is cool but I actually use it with my synths which worked great too. The fact this is stereo means you could actually pan things left and right for interesting results. This pedal also has midi functionality for clocking and using midi cc's to control functionality with an external device. Meaning all of the bottons and internal functions can be controlled externally which is very cool and useful.
