This pedal is a real good start! This one comes with our popular “Gilmour mod.” We took this NYC model and converted it to Violet Rams Head specs. David used that one in recordings from "The Wall." We have drilled and installed a standard 9 volt power jack, and we replaced the LED with a nice bright blue color. And…did you notice? We have drilled and installed another control knob. This one will let you scoop mids or boost those mids, making it easier for you to dial in those sounds you are looking for. What a sound!! I've been having a shoot out between yours and my 78 op amp muff. Mine is a tad dirtier, but it's almost as old as I am. It's exactly what I was looking for, a cleaner bigger version of my 78. I can now retire the old girl and use her just for recording. I really didn't want to take it out on the road anymore.
