Description

Up for sale, a 1980 Electro-Harmonix Memory Man in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Regarded among Memory Man enthusiasts as the "Version 3" given its three-knob configuration, this “Blue Face” analog delay pedal is a prime example of one of the earliest and least common iterations, incorporating a Chorus effect (in addition to delay), which is thick and lush thanks in no small part to the Panasonic MN3005 chip. The character of the delay is legendary for a reason, with a rolled off top-end and plenty of harmonic saturation. The repeats blend together in a warm, organic mix that can be dialed-in via the Blend, Feedback, and Delay controls. The aluminum enclosure has modest wear on the silkscreened graphics, and the original trio of knobs are intact, as is the original two-prong power cable.
