Absolutely pure tone with all the control you could want! Such a clean, smooth recovery on this VCA comp - never "pumpy." This is my absolute favorite comp of all time (and I've been through quite a few) ...and wildly under-rated. If you're like me and believe compressors need more knobs (but you think blend is useless and for comps that don't actually sound good), this is the one for you! Unfortunately, the metering lights aren't functioning (the Compression/db reduction box at the bottom left part of the pedal). Otherwise, it's in perfect working order!
