About the Unicorn Account

Description

Needed the filtering caps replaced and the battery snap was missing, so I replaced it and added a 1/8" power adapter jack as well. This is the original version with one LM324 quad opamp and a pair of 4558 dual chips. The vintage V2 switched to a pair of quad chips, and made some other additions to the circuit. This works perfectly, which means it has all the glitchiness one expects and loves in this version. Has the Bass switch, which in this case means you only use that setting with an actual bass as the frequencies it emphasizes are too low for a standard guitar to adequately track. This is very fun to play with and you can dial in some nice bass tones, and at the right settings even get some cool synth-y sounds. Add some fuzz and you can do the solo from "Fool in the Rain."
