This compact version of the Big Muff Pi is a modern reissue of the iconic fuzz/distortion from Electro-Harmonix. While retaining the spirit and sound of the famous Big Muffs of the 70s, this pedal is built to today's standards, with small dimensions, true bypass and a modern 9V power supply. The layout is classic: three controls for Volume, Tone and Sustain. Volume adjusts the output level, Sustain manages the degree of distortion and compression, while Tone allows you to sculpt the frequency response, going from full and dark sounds to more open and scratchy tones. The character remains that of the Big Muff: a rich, rounded fuzz with a very long sustain, perfect for melodic leads or massive riffs. The construction is solid, with a sturdy metal chassis, reliable for live and studio use. Although it is not a vintage pedal, this reissue offers all the warmth and punch that made the Big Muff famous, with a practicality that makes it ideal for any modern pedalboard.
