The BOSS Compact Series now includes a special edition model that incorporates over 35 years of overdrive/distortion design know-how and the latest technology. It offers guitarists the latest distortion sounds with expression and response that cannot be achieved with conventional circuit design.
Main Features Combines a modern overdrive sound with a fat core, but with a wide range and clarity. Outstanding playability with a natural compression feel that reflects the player's nuance in any bandwidth. Sound making that makes the most of the characteristics of the guitar and pickups is possible. Four knobs allow an overwhelmingly wide range of sound creation with the same simple operation as conventional pedals. Chrome parts are used for the knobs and panel, and the vintage-style silver screws give it a special appearance.
BOSS's Next Generation Overdrive The OD-1X is the next generation of distortion, with a powerful DSP chip and BOSS's proprietary MDP technology that sets it apart from conventional overdrives in terms of sound quality, resolution, and playing comfort. It combines a clear, transparent chord sound with a thick, core lead sound. A natural compression feeling can be obtained in any bandwidth according to the intensity of the player's picking. This is a special edition of the BOSS Compact, with the sound of a modern overdrive with a very wide range, yet with a superb tone that does not lose its presence in any kind of playing, from riffs to solos.
