This pedal has a very special and rare transistor, which is the equivalent of a military-spec “OC44“ Germanium Transistor…The Germanium Transistor in this pedal is the Mullard black glass “CV7003“-this particular transistor is nearly impervious to any weather changes (unlike most transistors!)-date of manufacture: “62/44” (this means the 44th week of 1962.)———————I had this pedal customized by Swart!- Swart added an on/off toggle switch to turn the battery off when not in use (extremely handy)- This pedal comes standard with a toggle switch that switches between mid or low frequencies. - I had Swart customize this feature to toggle between high or mid frequencies (at the expense of the original low frequency sound/option which I never used….)
