This is Jam Pedals' take on the iconic 1980s ProCo RAT. I've owned many RATs and they're always quite hard to live with - they can sound great but are generally quite noisy and I've found they can have a tendency to sound a bit harsh (in a 'cheap' way) if you're not careful. The Rattler is just class in every way - it does all that tube-amp-like, harmonically rich overdrive to full-bore saturated fuzz, but it always sounds smooth and oozes quality. A great pedal.Surprisingly flexible - I've used this for all sorts of musical genres, live and in the studio.Velcro on the bottom, otherwise excellent condition.
