Description

Boss DD-500 Digital Delay w/power supplyThe BOSS DD-500 Digital Delay is BOSS’ flagship, multi-mode delay pedal. With exceptional sound quality and customisable flexibility, the DD-500 is an absolute powerhouse of a delay, able to handle practically any delay-related task you assign to it. The core of the DD-500’s gigantic flexibility is the varied delay modes available for selection, accessible via the MODE knob on the front panel. While all of these modes are fundamentally delays, they are all different and have contrasting qualities to them which make for a diverse and inspiring palette of sound options to choose from. This unit sounds fantastic, and I love using the computer app to control it. These digital FX boxes are the 21st century version of rack gear, and Boss makes a couple of units that sound as good as anything most of us will ever need. And Boss definitely knows how to make excellent delays for the pedal board or for the studio. I primarily used this DD500 on my pedal board for my RedPlate Blackline amp. But it can serve as a piece of studio gear as well. Outboard gear is also really useful in the DAW studio, tracking with plugins for FX can be a little tricky with latency and all that. This is a nice tool to have around for tracking guitars and even vocals. Print the delay to separate tracks from the lead instrument for more flexibility later. I’m selling because I have several pedal board sized delays that I use and since I’m not doing much at all, recording I try not to hold onto gear I’m not make use of. The unit is in excellent condition, has velcro on the base.
