The Foxpedal Defector is a fuzz pedal inspired by the Russian Big Muff, offering modern versatility. It combines a gritty boost with a four-stage transistor fuzz, with the ‘Pre’ knob allowing independent or stacked operation. A three-way toggle switch selects between silicon-diode clipping for a classic Muff tone, no clipping for raw fuzz, and LED clipping for a fuller low-end response. The mid control shapes the frequency spectrum, from scooped to boosted mids, while the feedback switch engages controlled oscillation for experimental textures. Quiet in operation yet capable of aggressive tones, the Defector merges vintage character with contemporary flexibility.
