the sound of blues, soul and rock 'n' roll
The sound of Showman and Bassman amps and 2x15 cabinets from the mid-60's are reproduced in a compact size with the utmost respect.
Equipped with D.I. output.
9VDC(min 150mA)(adapter not included)
The BassRIG '64 Black Panel is an analog amp recreation that pays homage to the sounds of Showman and Bassman amps and 2x15 cabinets from the mid-60s.
In the history of bass amps, these powerful amp heads were relied upon by everyone from soul session players to rock 'n' roll stars, and ORIGIN EFFECTS believes that the bass of these early sounds is the best of the best, and the BassRIG '64 Black Panel provides the warmth and grit of the bass sounds that have defined an era.
It features the entire valve amp circuit in effect size, with all the controls needed to create the perfect bass amp tone.
The BLEND knob adds and mixes a dry signal (clean signal) to maintain clarity and the low end of the sound.
A DI output on XLR jacks is provided for line-level output from the analog cabinet simulator, so it can be connected directly to a mixing console or other device to provide powerful and authentic tones.
The output stage also features ORIGIN EFFECTS' proprietary Amp OutEQ post-drive filter that can be adjusted to match the amp being used. This filter ensures compatibility with any amp or cabinet. This means you don't have to struggle with sound makeup or compromise clean tones.
