Gently played and smoke free studio kept Reverse Mode C by Chase Bliss. A collaboration between genius Joel Korte and the talented creator of Empress Effects, Steve Bragg. Reverse Mode C as a "sound" is a well known force employed by several artists and immortalized on many great songs. This is one of the "Small Batch Bliss" releases which I think is a great build philosophy and hope to see more builders adopt. Fully working, clean, carefully packed and ready to ship.I use Reverb's Safe Shipping which requires signature on delivery. I pack very carefully and endeavor to ship same or next business day depending on time of purchase.Sadly I overlooked the order window and so I had to pick this up second hand. Thankfully I found a great seller with this pristine example, complete with original box and field guide. Yes I put some velcro on the back, and I know that in certain Chase Bliss fan circles this can result in swift mockery or banishment, but the variety I use is carefully selected to be easily removed without leaving any mess.I've owned two reverse delays, the other being the Walrus Audio Storybook (Lore or Fable?). I sold the Walrus because it was more creative that I was. I ended up just zoning out to beautiful noise all day. Not necessarily a bad thing but occasionally the family hopes to hear something resembling music emanating from my tone cave. For me, the Reverse Mode C was easier to integrate into how I make "music" and not just "sound". I was able to get it integrated into my rig pretty quick and enjoyed it a lot. It makes being "reversy" musically useful and intuitive and not soley whimsical or contrived. I never felt like I needed to write something FOR the pedal, and yet the effect was still able to inspire me to write stuff I may not have without it. To me that's a win.As digital goes, this is as lush and detailed as it gets. Pristine perfection. It's also, in typical Chase Bliss fashion, really really attractive to look at. They use some high quality paint. If you haven't had a Bliss yet, the build quality is impeccable. Best switches, jacks, pots, knobs, paint, screws and whatever else. There's a talented team of inspired, brainy, creative musicians over there that deliver some neat stuff. This is one of those "stuffs". Hate to let go of it but life has thrown me a heck of a wicked curve ball forcing a change of perspective and plans. I hope to find this Bliss a good new home.Live, play, dream, then die. Maybe leave some music behind. Thanks for looking and hope to see you in the checkout.
