1994 MXR M104 Distortion + with Pete's Pedals Tweaks, 1974 Metal Can Raytheon RC741 Chip. This one came out when Dunlop was still making the MXR reissues in the old way, with a floating non-integrated circuit board. 1994 date codes are on the pots and the inspection sticker. Pete has upgraded a number of things with this one. He did his tweak that prevents the tone from thinning out as the Distortion control is maxed out. He replaced a few of the capacitors in the signal path with hi-fi metal film capacitors. Finally, he replaced the stock 741 chip with an NOS Raytheon metal can chip from 1974, which was the first year of the Distortion + ! This sounds amazing - the chip is super rare! This Pedal is in excellent shape, just 2 dings, seen on picture 3. Amazing sounding pedal!NO original box.Works perfectly.Excellent condition.Power: 9VDC neg tip adapter or 9V batteryNo power supply included.
