Up for sale is a virtually mint condition Fulltone Full-Drive 2 MOSFET overdrive/boost pedal. Often considered the first of the “boutique” pedal builders, Fulltone made its reputation on three legendary pedals: the OCD, the Deja Vibe and this little monster, the Full-Drive. This particular unit is the 2nd generation Full-Drive 2, which features some tweaked circuitry as well as the addition of a switchable MOSFET circuit for a choice of overdrive characteristics. Simple controls for volume, tone and amount of overdrive, plus a 3-position mini toggle for a variety of overdrive voicings, it’s damn near impossible to NOT find a tone you’ll like. And once you’ve dialed in your desired level of tube-driving fury, you also have an independently adjustable and switchable boost feature for when the solo comes up and it’s time to take no prisoners. In a world inundated with overdrive pedals, a precious few have become iconic: Tube Screamer, Klon Centaur and this bad boy. If you don’t believe me, check with some guys named Frampton, Trower and Urban; it’s been on all of their pedal boards.Built like a tank in the good ol’ USA, this pedal is in pretty much pristine condition with one minor flaw: one rubber foot has been replaced (see photo); other than that, she looks, works and sounds like new.
