As you may know from Josh Scott, Tone Report, and other in-the-know sources, the Ibanez Tone-Lok series of pedals from the late 90s / early 2000s included a lot of amazing models with great tone and functionality, despite their humble looks. The AP7 is one of three different phaser models included in the series, and it includes a very cool range of classic, all-analog phaser sounds. The switchable stage setting gives you either four-stage phasing like a Phase 90, six-stage phasing like a Small Stone or Mu-Tron, or even more modern eight-stage phasing all in the same pedal. (Having all three options in a true analog pedal is pretty rare these days even in the boutique arena, and was unheard of back in the AP7’s day!) It’s built like a tank like all the Tone-Lok pedals, and the push-in recessed control knobs really do come in handy on a crowded pedalboard where you want to keep your favorite settings intact.I bought this pedal about three years ago from someone who claimed to be the original owner, and he’d kept it in very good condition. There are some small scratches and nicks in the casing and the bottom — see the detailed photos I’ve posted here — but overall in nice shape functionally and cosmetically.Free shipping, and it’ll ship quickly with secure packing. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
