Description

From me:My main pedal for the last 6 years. The only reason I sell it is I have another Friedman BE-OD Deluxe pedal. It has absolutely great high gain channel and Super Lead/JTM45 channel. The high gain channel has tight switch which is the low cut filter like in those modified Marshall JCM800. So you high gain doesn't become boomy and flubby. And it has options like no low cut (JCM800), low cut like balanced option, and very noticable low cut like in Friedman Brown Eye 100W amplifier which is used by Foo Fighters's Chris Shiflett (their higher side shredder), Alice in Chains Jerry Cantrell, Jake E. lee (guitarist of Ozzy Osbourne) etc. Low gain channel 2 can be very fat and farty under higher gain so you keep gain down by the inner pot and than wide range of low gain sounds. But with low cut tight switch you can go high gain too. I keep it for low gain and here we have totally different options: if you don't use the tight switch at all it will go like JTM45: dark, warm, clean, which is amazing to use it as a guitar head. Put a TS808 in front of it and you have a guitar amp with a boost. Or use low cut and crank up Gain a bit and it's pure Super Lead series called 1959 Marshall Plexi of around 1967 year. Still not like shrill high fizzy from 1970 Super Lead. Imagine it like you have a Marshall Super Lead but you cut the bright cap to make it smoother and more pleasant. Or it's like those pre 1968 Super Leads without a transistor in a rectifier but with a tube.OMG! I';m typing this text and almost convinced myself not to sell it LOL. An inner pot is adjustable so you can set overall cleanish or high gain range. Cleaner 2nd channel, inner pot, and 18Volt higher headroom option are not available in 1 channel cheaper version of this pedal called BE-OD. So this BE-OD Deluxe is muuuuuch better. -----------------------------------From the website:This new BE-OD Deluxe pedal employs the exact same circuit but adds another channel and dual midrange controls.
