BackgroundThis Keeley Bassist compressor/limiting amplifier lived a leisurely life on my church board until it got booted by something else in the never-ending quest for gear ... I mean tone. The Bassist is simple and effective in adding more or less "squish" and gain with three simple controls. Honestly, all knobs at noon and I was pretty much good to go. The pedal does at a little of its own "secret sauce" when engaged, but to me it stays true to your base (bass?) tone and adds just enough oomph without too much coloration.ConditionThe pedal functions flawlessly and gives you different flavors of squish without much fuss.The pedal is in excellent condition, and my only reasons for not listing it as "mint" are:There is 3M Dual-Lock on the back of the pedal, which has been painstakingly cut and applied around the original Keeley serial number sticker (yeah, I'm weird). I can remove the Dual-Lock for you if you would like before shipping, but its addition precludes the pedal from being "mint."The little rubber feet have been applied over the screws on the back of the pedal, preventing a new owner from experiencing the initial ruber-feet-applying experience. There's just some general household dust on the pedal, but it will be cleaned and checked before shipping.Please note I try to list all cosmetic imperfections in detail so you know what you are buying. I would rather have you be happy with a few blemishes than upset because the "Mint" item you received had scratches (spoken from experience as a purchaser).What's includedEverything included is shown in the images, which includes:Keeley Bassist pedalOriginal box (box has a strip of old packing tape over the flap that was previously used to keep it closed) and clear plastic bag (very important to have the OEM plastic bag, I know)Instruction manual and Keeley stickerShippingShipping available to the U.S. using Reverb shipping, which likely will be USPS knowing how they work.Please no offers at the time, but let me know if you have any questions.
