Warm audio RINGERBRINGER ring modulator, boxed in nearly new condition, plus an M-Audio Expression pedal that works really well with it - I've been using it to sweep the frequency, particularly into the borderlands where it's just breaking into being an audible frequency. It becomes a really interesting alternative to a wah pedal. you can also use it in this mode as a tremolo pedal, using the expression to alter the speed of the wobble - or use the built in lfo to do this automatically.I've also been using it in combination with my semi-modular synth - the unit has all sort of control voltage inputs to control it's parameters using other hardware. the other great feature is being able to replace the carrier with another sound source, so i experimented using my theremin as the carrier, which also works well to satisfyingly interfere with your signal.I love the sounds you can get out of this unit - especially when combined with the foot controller - but I'm simplifying my effects and I can't justify it's slot on my pedalboard, in favour of more straightforward units. you can probably tell i've played with this quite a bit at home and i'll miss it, but it's just not for me.
