I bought this unit new about 6 months ago. Since then, it has remained in my home on my practice board. I am happy to remove the velcro if desired. The pedal works perfectly and sounds great. I used it to easily give my passive bass a boost to match when I play my active. Since then, I purchased another bass with a similar output so this is no longer needed.
