The Citadel is a preamp-style OD inspired by the sounds of ‘60s and ‘70’s British plexi amplifiers delivering warm piano-like clarity, bright, sparkly mid-range focus and sizzling lead tones. It responds well to boosts, drives and fuzz pedals in front and can be used either as a preamp or as a more traditionally OD pedal.Controls: BRIGHT GAIN-dial CW to add gain from the parallel BRIGHT channel (voiced for chime/sparkle). It adds bite to the drive tone at higher settings. It’s muted when control is set fully CCW.NORMAL GAIN-dial CW to add gain from the parallel NORMAL channel (voiced for dark, full body tone).
