Welcome to GEARLORD.com on Reverb– For your consideration is this vintage 1982 Maxon OD-808 Overdrive effects pedal.– This very nice all original “large box” example, serial number 114222, was previously owned by Jeorge Tripps of Way Huge. It retains the label maker sticker he applied to the bottom plate.– The enclosure, controls, and circuitry are identical to its Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer counterpart, which was the export version of the Maxon OD-808.– This is a great sounding pedal, most likely used by Tripps as inspiration and a basis for comparison.
