What the FX76 DoesWhen did punk music really get noticed? 1976, according to most. Thus, DOD introduces the FX76 Punkifier. The FX76 Punkifier mixes an overdrive distortion with a 60's type fuzz that creates overdriven, full throttle sonic fun. Now any punk tones can be created, from the early 70's Stooges to present sounds like Butt Trumpet and P.O.L. So scare that band that practices next to you! Plug in and start playing those barre chords (do you really NEED any other chords?). Solos now become mush and hey - it's all in the name of U.S. hard core!! Does anybody really need to "shred" when the rest of the band is playing at warp speed?Controls:PUNK: Mixes the overdrive level with the fuzz distortion level. Overdrive can be heard when the control is counter-clockwise and the fuzz can be heard when the control is clockwise. Tun the punk control counter-clockwise to achieve a good old overdrive sound. WARNING: When the PUNK knob is turned fully clockwise, the Punkifier has been shown to blow the emblems off cabinets and amplifiers!!SLAM: Controls the gain of the overdrive section of the pedal. It does not affect the signal when the PUNK knob is turned clockwise. Turn this pot up to give more sustain and overall gain in the overdrive sectionSPIKES: Controls the "scratch" content of your guitar sound. Turning this control up feels like slamming into somebody's studded leather jacket in the pit. To boost the highs, turn it clockwise. To cut the highs, turni it counter-clockwise.MENACE: This control speaks for itself... the more you turn it up, the more of a menace you become. This control is typically used to match the dry level with the guitar's distorted level. Turn it all the way up to overdrive the front end of any ampHave fun with your life. Buy this, turn it up, piss off the neighbors, and get it all out!Check out my other listings for more cool vintage, boutique, DOD, Distortion, overdrive, and other guitar pedals!
