Bought new direct from VFE in early 2021. Never gigged--only light studio use. From VFE:The new Choral Reef design boasts two high headroom MN300x chips that can run on up to 15V for maximum clean headroom. The 256-stage MN3009 chip has a shorter delay time that is perfect for creating flanger & vibrato tones, and the 1024-stage MN3007 chip has a longer delay time tailor-made for dripping, wet chorus effects. But wait, there's more! Put the MODE switch in the middle, and both chips get mixed together for a unique, rich chorus tone.SPEED - controls the speed of the chorusDEPTH - controls the depth of the chorusMIX - blends between the dry and wet signalsTIME - controls the delay time of the chorus line, which affects the flavor of thechorus (longer delay times increase the noise of the BBD chip)FEED - adds feedback into the circuit, adding resonance & repeats with longer delay timesMODE - toggles between the 256-stage MN3009 bucket brigade chip and the 1024-stage MN3007 chip.INTERNAL CONTROLS - The right trimpot controls the max feedback level, the left trimpot biases the bucket brigade chip for maximum headroom, and the bottom changes the brightness of the LED indicator.POWER - Accepts the industry standard, 9 to 15 VDC, negative-tip power supply. It CANNOT be powered with a 9V battery.
