Take a look at this incredibly rare 1974 "Bud Box" MXR Phase 90! From MXR's very first batch of pedals, this unit was literally hand wired and assembled in a Rochester New York basement and likely sold to an east coast musician from the trunk of a car. The "Bud Box" Phase 90 became famous for its warm, rich sound, largely due to its simple design and minimalistic circuit layout. This pedal is 100% original with no mods, no weird holes drilled into the housing or anything like that. Please note that the box is slightly damaged/very fragile and will ship separately from the pedal to avoid further damage. As with all of our pedals, this item has been meticulously cleaned and tested, assuring that this beauty sounds just as good as it did 50 years ago. Follow our shop for other rare vintage MXR pedals!
