one of the greatest fuzz pedal out there, Analogman Germanium Sun Face with vintage Newmarket transistors which supposed to be NKT275 but with housed number NKT MT57F, or known as NKT "Red Dot" transistors.as the supplies of the transistors has been dried up, these are getting harder to get, and slowly but sure the price keep creeping up but fortunately still way below the OG NKT275 one.this particular unit are came with lower gain set transistors. compared to regular gain set of Fuzz Face, there's not much different in how gainy the fuzz, but with better clean up. which I think what make germanium Fuzz Face excellent is in how good they clean up when you play with your guitar volume.if you want hot gainy Fuzz Face, you should opted for silicon one.no sundial on this one, just straight up classic Fuzz Face set up.there is addition of DC jack, although the best way to powered up this old school is by using old school zinc-carbon battery.the way I use the DC jack is by using additional battery clip wired to DC plug, so I don't have to open the case if I want to change the battery and also I can just unplug the battery, so don't have to worry about battery drain when I forgot to unplug the input jack.
