For sale is a JHS Haunting Mids 'Cocked Wah' EQ pedal in perfect working and excellent cosmetic condition. This effect is essentially a mid-pass EQ circuit which is intended to mimic the tone of a wah-wah with the rocker set in a static position, similar to the tone made famous by Mick Ronson when he was part of David Bowie's early 1970's 'Spiders from Mars' band, and featured on songs like 'Ziggy Stardust'. Of course, Ronson also had a 1950's goldtop Les Paul, a vintage Tone Bender pedal, some killer British tube amps, and a boatload of talent and ability, but this effect WAS part of his thing. It is a one-trick pony, but it does do that trick nicely, and there aren't too many pedals outside of a true wah pedal that do this. You're gonna love it.
