The SL offers a very similar response to the amp: simply turn down the volume on your guitar for a clean sound. Internal Dip switches allow you to choose the tonal characteristics of both 1959 models. The "Super Lead" setting offers a brighter sound with more Gain, while the "Super Bass" setting has more low-end and less treble. The SL features True-bypass which eliminates all signal interference when not in use.
