We now include a 'Fat'/'Bright' switch that allows you to choose between two vastly different tonal contours affecting both the distortion and Octave settings! This unit is not fussy in that it tracks well on either pickup most anywhere on the neck, although the neck pickup offers extreme octave clarity. You can dial in excessive amounts of 'Octave' with the 'Tone' control and by reducing the 'Distortion' while increasing the 'Volume.' I suggest that this unit be positioned after wah-wah and before other distortion units in your signal-chain. I recommend using a Carbon-Zinc
