It is basically a chorus effector, but it can also be used as a vibrato or flanger by utilizing the chorus structure, and you can select from three modes. Mode V is a chorus/vibrato mode that uses triangle wave (V) LFO modulation. When the Balance knob is turned all the way to the right, the original sound is cut and can be used as a pitch vibrato. Mode C is a chorus/flanger mode that uses a sine wave (C). This LFO modulation is warmer and slower than V mode, and when you turn the “Width” knob to the right, feedback is added to make the flanger effect even more pronounced. Mode R is a chorus/rotary mode that reproduces the Leslie speaker. By researching the horn movements of the 1940s Leslie speaker, phasing due to differences in speed, and differences in sound output, it has been tuned to suit not only guitars but any musical instrument.
