Description

Product Information from Back-in-the-Day:This remarkable instrument offers guitar players the flexibility previously available only to the keyboard synthesist, and at a revolutionary price! Up until now, "guitar synthesizers" were considered too complex and time consuming for on-stage use. They either required modifications to the performers guitar, in the form of additional special pickups, or they required the use of a "special" guitar. And they were often too expensive for many players to afford. But the new low-cost Korg X-911 works with any unmodified electric guitar, and is specifically designed for live performance use as well as for recording purposes. In creating the X-911, Korg combined the capabilities of the Korg MS-03 Guitar Synthesizer Interface … an advanced high- technology Pitch-to-Voltage Converter specifically designed for guitar . . . with features of the Korg KP-30 "Sigma", a new multi-voiced performance-oriented key-board synthesizer. The result is a light-weight compact unit offering superior guitar tracking, rapid voice selection abilities, and unlimited sound combinations. The X-911 allows the guitarist to change or mix voices at the touch of a button. But unlike conventional "preset" synthesizers, each voice on the X-911 can be "tailored" to the user's preference, and then used singlely or in any desired combination. Additionally, many other effects such as footswitch-operated Portamento, Interval "Detuning", Synthesizer "Hold" and "Cancel" functions, external Frequency and Filter Modulation capabilities, plus full synthesizer Interfacing facilities, offer the performer excellent onstage flexibility, plus the ability to expand his system by the addition of other devices (eg. Control Pedals, Sequencers, Synthesizers, etc.). Source: Korg X-911 Monophonic Guitar Synthesizer Owner’s ManualCondition:Fully functioning.
