This is the Red Panda Bitmap bitcrusher pedal. It chops your signal into ones and zeroes, then gives you control over the resolution and sampling rate of the playback. In short, it takes your pretty guitar sound and makes it filthy lo-fi digital. But the Bitmap has some other tricks as well. With the flick of a switch, it can modulate the sampling rate, giving you crushed tremolo and vibrato effects. Here's a rundown of the controls:MOD/CRUSH: This switch toggles between the modulated mode and the standard bitcrush mode.WAVEFORM/GAIN TOGGLE: In the MOD mode, this toggles between three wave shapes used to modulate the sampling rate. In the CRUSH mode, the switch toggles between three levels of input gain.FREQ: This adjusts the sampling rate. Clockwise gives you a high sampling rate that adds just a little something extra to your sound. Turning the knob counter-clockwise reduces the sampling rate, giving you lower fidelity and more distortion. CRUSH/RATE: In MOD mode, this adjusts the speed of the modulation. In the CRUSH mode, this sets the bit depth. Full-clockwise is pristine 24-bit. Full counter-clockwise is a mere 1-bit.MIX: This is a blend knob. Full counter-clockwise is 100% dry signal. 12:00 is 50/50 wet/dry. Full clockwise is 100% wet (bitcrushed) signal.LEVEL: This is the output volume of the Bitmap. Once the other knobs are set where you like, you can set the LEVEL to unity gain with your dry signal. Or you can crank the LEVEL for a volume boost.This Bitmap is in very good condition. The electronics work perfectly. The pots, jacks and switches are all clean and quiet. It will come in the original box. You can power this with a 1Spot or Boss PSA-style ac/dc adapter, or with your standard 9-volt pedalboard power supply.
