Mint Reverse Mode C by Chase Bliss. Comes with original box and Field Guide manual. Has Velcro on back which can be removed without damaging the serial number sticker. This pedal was created in conjunction with Empress Audio and was born from a particular setting on Empress’ classic Superdelay. That setting? Mode C of the Reverse Menu, of course! Translated into a standalone pedal and substantially expanded upon, Reverse Mode C is a pitch delay with up, down, and backwards voicings that can be modulated in so many ways that the pedal comes with a 40-page booklet to enumerate the possibilities—complete with stylish infographics to support concepts like mode sequencing, envelope-triggered voice cycling, automated knob expressions, etc etc etc and cross modulation throughout basically everything. As the folks at Chase Bliss say, “It’s simple! What’s not to get, you dimwits?!?” 😂 I kid, I kid. This one is pretty approachable—especially if you’re familiar with CB’s dip switches/ramp controls that superpower-ify all their pedals. And it’s seriously powerful, if in a hyper-narrow sonic framework that might not be incredibly useful for the majority of songwriting applications... it’s like having 20 variations of a fancy, stinky cheese that really only pairs well with one kind of family-heirloom sourdough that only one fourth-generation baker has in their possession and they only release the loaves once a year… so why you get all that cheese?!?… or something… I can’t do metaphors rn I’m baked sorry! That said I’m gonna keep having fun with this pedal while I have it and I’m certain I will continue to discover new, interesting, and novel pitched delay textures to record.🖖Regular Feelings Audio Devices
